How does Thomas Muller prepare for a massive Champions League clash against Juventus on Tuesday?

By scoring an incredible bicycle-kick of course.

His side were surprisingly being held by Darmstadt in the 71st minute of their Bundesliga match when the 26-year-old pulled off the outrageous skill.

The away side had led for the majority of the match before Muller equalised shortly after half-time.

But the moment of the match came with just 20 minutes remaining.

Arturo Vidal lofted a hopeful ball into the ball and there didn’t appear to be too much danger for the defence as Muller took the ball on his chest with his back to goal.

But he somehow pulled off an gorgeous bicycle kick which left the goalkeeper with absolutely no chance.

As you'd expect, Twitter users exploded with excitement after seeing Muller's fantastic effort.

Robert Lewandowski added a third late on to send the Bavarian side 11 points clear of Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga.

Muller’s brace meant that he has now scored 17 league goals - the most he’s scored in his career despite it only being in February.

Despite only being 26-years-old Muller is really starting to establish himself as a Munich legend.

He has now notched 88 Bundesliga goals, which is the seventh most in the club’s history. Also, and probably more impressively, he is just one goal away from fourth place in Bayern’s all time goalscoring list in all competions.

Muller’s Munich face Juventus in a European heavyweight clash on Tuesday in their Champions League round of 16 tie.

It’s safe to say that we’re likely to see many goal crackers like this from Muller in the years to come.
