Wade Barrett is reportedly set to quit WWE when his current contract expires this summer, leaving fans to speculate that the reason behind this abrupt decision could be his recent bookings.
The Preston born Superstar has been Britain's greatest threat to the WWE Championship in over a decade and his departure would leave just female Superstars to represent the UK.
That being said, Barrett does have valid reasons for walking away from the biggest wrestling company in the world, but would WWE be making a mistake by letting him go?

THE LEAGUE OF NATIONS?
When Barrett's contract expires around SummerSlam, The League of Nations story line will have already met a dead end.
The group that consists of Alberto Del Rio, Rusev, Sheamus and Barrett was supposed to have been one of the most dominant of this era in WWE, but booking and injuries have prevented the group from delivering.
On Sunday night at FastLane, only Alberto Del Rio represented the group as he went one-on-one in a two out of three falls match with Kalisto in the hope of winning back his United States Championship. A goal he failed to obtain.
WILL BARRETT BE MISSED?
The former five-time Intercontinental Champion and current reigning King of the Ring will be a big miss for WWE, he brings something new and exciting to the table and WWE will be hard pressed to find a replacement.
During his Bad News gimmick, Barrett was one of the hottest Superstars in WWE and the company failed to capitalize on this success and instead decided to have him win the 2015 King of the Ring contest before failing to push him after the victory.
Barrett was then put into feud after feud with fellow British star Neville before he was then injured and hasn't seen much ring action in the past few months, instead opting to be a valet for League of Nations.
WWE have failed to capitalize on Barrett's potential and now they could be set to lose one of their most talented stars, but it seems there loss will definitely be the Independent Circuit's gain.
