It’s fair to say Robin van Persie isn’t liked by Arsenal fans.

The Dutch striker left the Gunners after eight seasons at the Emirates to join Premier League rivals Manchester United.

The make matters worse, he won the title in his first season at Old Trafford, scoring an incredible 28 goals that campaign to really rub it in the noses of Arsenal fans.

So, when the subject of two Van Persie cropped up on the hilarious panel show 'A League Of Their Own,' Arsenal fans and comedian Jack Whitehall didn’t hold back.

He may come across as a posh, young man but the way Whitehall compared Van Persie to fellow Dutchman and former Gunner Dennis Bergkamp was anything but posh.

Watch the video below to see how Whitehall brilliantly abuses Van Persie:

I’m sure most Arsenal fans will agree with Whitehall and couldn’t have put it better themselves.

While Bergkamp retired in 2006 after 11 incredible seasons at the Gunners, Van Persie is still plying his trade in Turkey for Fenerbahce.

Whilst at Arsenal, Van Persie was a fan favourite after his 132 goals in 277 matches, despite being plagued with injuries at times. Despite being at the club from 2004-2012, he lifted just one trophy - the FA Cup in 2005.

Compare that the Bergkamp’s trophy-laden Arsenal career and you can understand why he’s adored so much by Gooners.

He scored 120 goals - some of which were outstanding - and managed to win three league titles and four FA Cups.
