Football News

Roman Reigns was absent from the Monday's episode of RAW following a vicious attack he received at the hands of Triple H last week.

Also absent from Smackdown, many fans have questioned when they will see the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion next.

Brother in place

In Reigns' absence, his brother in arms Dean Ambrose has stepped up and will seemingly feud with current WWE World Heavyweight Champion and Reigns opponent for WrestleMania Triple H.

Ambrose has a Championship match against Triple H at the WWE's impromptu PPV Road Block a week on Saturday.

As for Reigns, his absence will be more than just a weekly thing as he is now not expected to return until the March 21st episode of RAW.

The latest rumours give Reigns another two weeks away despite him only being removed from the advertising for this week's RAW in Chicago.

If they are to be believed, the biggest impact Reigns' absence could have is on the Road Block event when Ambrose takes on Triple H.

Many would expect Reigns to play a part in that night and if he isn't coming back until March 21st - one week after Road Block, it's unlikely he will make an appearance.

Which ever way the match between Ambrose and Triple H goes, Reigns has earned the right to face the champion at WrestleMania - whoever that may be.

It was a ruthless attack by Triple H that saw Reigns need some time away:

Back with a bang?

If Reigns is due for another two weeks off of TV, we can only ask what it will be like when he does finally return.

Hopefully he will receive better build up for his WrestleMania main event this year than he did for his clash with Brock Lesnar last year.
