Dolph Ziggler has every right to be upset with the WWE for how they've handled him over the past year and a half or so.
After getting The Authority kicked out of power following his incredible performance at Survivor Series 2014 - overturning a 3-on-1 disadvantage with a little bit of help from Sting - and getting incredibly over with the WWE Universe, nothing was really done with Ziggler to capitalise on that success.
And it still seems like Ziggler is being held back by those in power in some way, this time on his personal Twitter account.
Yesterday before Monday Night Raw, Ziggler sent out a tweet mentioning Shane McMahon and a bit of a dig at The Authority, which was later deleted.
"cool to see @shanemcmahon #RAW Detroit! He made the authority relevant, like when I beat them ALL #SS14 only to be “punished” again," the tweet said.
You can see why the WWE wouldn't exactly be too enthralled to have one of their superstars tweet out something like this, potentially lifting the lid on what happens behind the scenes of the wrestling monolith.
After deleting the tweet, Ziggler posted from his account again, and seemed to be pretty fed up with something. Many fans were relating it to the deleted tweet.
Ziggler's career in the WWE has been an interesting one, to say the very least.
He has had stop-and-start pushes since arriving in 2008, most notably having his World Heavyweight Championship run end after suffering a concussion early in his reign.
Despite getting a good reaction from the crowds, and big ones after his Survivor Series exploits, Ziggler has been languising in the mid-card, occasionally seeing himself in the Intercontinental Championship picture.
Is it a Work?
Interestingly, there is a possibility this could actually be a work, with Ziggler doing his best to try and create some sort of new angle between him and The Authority in the run up to WrestleMania 32 next month in Dallas, Texas.
With the arrival of Sami Zayn on the main roster last night, the thought of Ziggler taking on Kevin Owens for the Intercontinental Championship is now out of question and he doesn't really have anything on his plate.
Why could it be a work? Well, because the WWE brought attention to the deleted tweet in a promo on Raw Fallout, that has been posted onto the official YouTube channel.
Is it a work or is Ziggler genuinely upset with his treatement? Only time will tell...
