LeBron James reveals the reasons behind his cryptic tweets

LeBron James is arguably the best basketball player on the planet today, perhaps of his era. Stephen Curry's recent other-worldly achievements have made it more of a discussion, but still, King James is, King James.

The Cleveland Cavalier superstar has led his franchise to the top spot in the East, but on top of his basketball pedigree, James has been adding another feather to his cap as of late - social media extraordinaire.

The 31-year-old has posted several cryptic tweets as of late that has captured the publics imagination and of course, has got the rumour mill churning.

The tweets started on March 1 and over a six-day period seemed to make cutting points aimed in no particular direction. First of all, he stated: "It's OK to know you've made a mistake. Cause we all do at times. Just be ready to live with whatever that comes with."

Most recently, he talked about chemistry in basketball, something that the 'Big 3' in Cleveland - Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love and James - have been accused of lacking.

James tweeted: "The ultimate level of chemistry is when you know what I'm thinking without saying a word and we execute it. Visa Versa."

He followed that up with: "It's this simple. U can't accomplished the dream if everyone isn't dreaming the same thing everyday. Nightmares follow."

Is he in the midst of a nightmare?

The Ohio-native is a two-time NBA Champion, 12-time All-Star and four-time MVP. With that kind of status comes expectations and in turn, a figure like James is expected to lead his troops towards those lofty goals.

The Cavs do sit atop of the Eastern Conference, but a glance across the coast at the records of Golden State Warriors and San Antonio Spurs make for concerned viewing.

Suddenly, a franchise that is expected to capture it's first NBA title ever doesn't look like the lock the organisation had hoped it would be. Even with the great LeBron in their ranks.

James returned to Cleveland to bring a title home, and nothing else will do. The Cavs are 44-18 for the season, but James' social media posts have gotten the media trying to connect the dots.

Hayden Grove of the Associate Press caught up with James on Monday and the Cavaliers all-time leading scorer explained his posts, somewhat.

"I've got a beautiful mind and, sometimes, I like to use it in a social manner.

"They’re for the educated mind, so if you have an educated mind, they hit home for you," James added.
