Zlatan Ibrahimovic has helped Paris Saint-Germain retain the Ligue 1 title in style, scoring a nine-minute hat-trick against Troyes this afternoon.

The Sweden international, 34, produced three superb finishes in nine second-half minutes to complete what must surely be the fastest hat-trick of his professional career. He added a fourth goal towards the end of the match.

PSG ended up winning the game 9-0, securing the Ligue 1 title for the fourth successive season in the process. (Scroll down this page to watch Zlatan’s nine-minute hat-trick).

Zlatan has now scored 102 Ligue 1 goals - a hugely impressive feat when you consider he only arrived in France in 2012.

The veteran striker has scored 35 goals in 38 matches this season and PSG will surely be desperate to keep him at the Parc des Princes beyond this summer, when his contract expires.

Premier League clubs keen to sign Zlatan

Several Premier League clubs are understood to be interested in signing Ibrahimovic, including West Ham and Manchester United.

Thierry Henry, meanwhile, revealed on Sky Sports this weekend that he’s heard Zlatan would prefer a move to Arsenal.

But PSG would be crazy if they allow Zlatan to leave without a fight.

The charismatic forward has netted at least 30 goals or more in each of his four seasons with the Parisians and is showing no signs of slowing down.

Zlatan improving with age

"I am like wine, I improve with age,” Zlatan was quoted as saying by Goal earlier this season. “I do not feel on the decline - quite the opposite.”

It’s now clear he was telling the truth.
