Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann is one of the world’s best and most sought-after footballers.
The France international has been sensational for Atletico since arriving from Real Sociedad in the summer of 2014 and boasts an impressive record of 48 goals in 92 appearances.
However, while you’d obviously want Griezmann to be part of your five-a-side team, you wouldn’t want him on your team at the local bowling alley. (Scroll down this page to see why).

On Sunday, Griezmann posted a video on his official Facebook page of himself bowling, alongside the caption: “The best !!!! 😀😂👑👌”
But rather than a strike, the 24-year-old failed to hit a single pin. The ball rolled into the gutter and Griezmann walked away holding his arm, in a bid to spare (no pun intended) his blushes.
The video of Griezmann’s epic bowling fail, however, is spreading like wildfire on Facebook: over one million views, 1,000 shares and 2,000 comments in the first 17 hours after it was first uploaded.
While there’s a good chance nobody reading this article is as good as Griezmann at football - unless you’re Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar or Luis Suarez - you can take away some satisfaction knowing you’re better than the Frenchman at bowling.
Griezmann is happy at Atletico
Europe’s top clubs would all love to sign Griezmann - who can play on either flank, through the middle or as a centre-forward - but the man himself told reporters last month that he’s happy at the Vicente Calderon.
“I’m fine here, I'm at ease,” the former Real Sociedad striker was quoted as saying by the Daily Mail. “I want to continue here and I think the club's intention is not to sell, so I'm not going.”
Griezmann's relationship with Simeone
And why would Griezmann want to leave the Calderon?
He’s working under one of the best young coaches in the world, Diego Simeone, who has complete faith in the versatile forward’s ability - and is competing for the biggest trophies.
Atletico currently sit second in La Liga - eight points behind leaders Barcelona - with nine matches of the campaign remaining. They are also expected to qualify for the Champions League quarter-finals later this week at the expense of PSV Eindhoven.
"[Griezmann] is showing very good consistency, since December until today," Simeone was quoted as saying by ESPN in January. "That speaks well of him. I would not put him up among the very best: I would just tell him not to listen to such talk, to look to himself, to keep improving. He is young, works hard. With time it will all come to him naturally."
Shame the same can’t be said about his bowling ability.
