Jamie Carragher sent funny tweet after Philippe Coutinho goal

Even the most loyal of Liverpool fans will admit that playmaker Philippe Coutinho can be frustrating to watch.

The technically gifted star most definitely oozes class and often proves his credentials on the pitch, but there are also occasions when he fails to really stamp his mark on proceedings.

Coutinho is most definitely one of the most talented players plying his trade in the Premier League, but he's yet to perform on a consistent basis.

Following his display against Manchester United in the Europa League on Thursday night, club legend Jamie Carragher just about summed it all up.

Initially, after a poor pass from the midfielder, Carragher sent a tweet stating: 'Stupid ball by Coutinho'.

Class of Coutinho

Clearly, then, the ex-England man had grown frustrated with the dynamic ace. Moments later, Carragher sent another tweet...

Coutinho, of course, had just all but settled the tie at Old Trafford, scoring a world-class goal past United shot-stopper David de Gea.

Unsurprisingly, Carragher's reaction was brilliant as he described the Liverpool number ten as 'a Brazilian f****r'.

That's what you get for making the Sky Sports pundit look a little foolish. Carragher, though, clearly wouldn't have cared too much as his beloved side finished the job and secured their place in the quarter-finals of the competition.
