Sky Sports pundit Guillem Balague believes that Real Madrid ace Toni Kroos wants to leave the club in the next transfer window.

Balague has also insisted that the midfield star would be 'ideal' for Manchester United but claims that there will be a fight for his signature this summer.

Kroos has enjoyed a fine couple of years on Spanish soil, but it appears that he could be set to move on sooner rather than later.

At just 26-years-old, the Germany international is recognised as one of the leading midfielders in world football and would represent quite the coup for the Red Devils.

Balgaue certainly expects the Real star to move on in the near future. Speaking to Sky Sports, as per The Sun, the Spanish football expert stated: “I do believe he wants to leave Real. It will be a fight for anyone to get him, but he would be ideal for Manchester United.

Fight for Kroos

“There will be a fight for him this summer.”

In fact, the same report from The Sun suggests that Kroos has been in contact with his compatriot Bastian Schweinsteiger.

Schweinsteiger, of course, completed a move to the Red Devils last summer but has failed to come to prominence under Louis van Gaal's regime.

A midfield pairing of Kroos and Schweinsteiger would certainly change the dynamic at Old Trafford ahead of the 2016/17 campaign.
