If you're a fan of the NFL, and more specifically the New England Patriots, you will know that Rob Gronkowski is one of the best tight ends the league has ever seen.

He's breaking records every single season and by the time he calls an end to his career - which probably won't be for another ten years - he will go down as likely the best tight end in NFL history, and probably a first ballot Hall of Famer.

The tight end has reached the status where whenever he does something, everyone takes note. This week, he (surprisingly) joined Instagram for the first time in true Gronkowski style.

In his first ever post, the Patriots star put together a 60-second video - which can be viewed further down - capturing what it means to be Rob Gronkowski during the offseason by working out, flying in his jet, going to the spa and getting pampered, and of course, going clubbing.

With the way he has been partying and chilling out during the offseason so far, the Patriots will be hoping the tight end can keep on developing and become even better for the 2016 season ahead. He has racked up 5,555 receiving yards and 65 touchdowns from 380 receptions since he was drafted in the second round back in 2010.

In 2015, Gronkowski caught 72 passes for 1,176 yards and 11 touchdowns, averaging 16.3 yards per catch. This past season marked the first time the Patriots star had achieved 1,000-plus yards in back-to-back seasons (2014 - 1,124 yards and 12 touchdowns from 82 receptions). He also became the first tight end to have three seasons with 10+ touchdowns and 1,000+ receiving yards (2011, 2014-2015).

It hasn't always been all sunshine and rainbows for the tight end, as injuries have stopped him being an impact some seasons. He has missed 16 games over the duration of his six seasons in his career so far, but entering his seventh season with the team, bigger things are going to be expected by Gronkowski.

The Patriots recently made the offseason addition of tight end Martellus Bennett through a trade with the Chicago Bears. Bennett was traded along with a sixth-round draft pick in the 2016 NFL draft to the Patriots, with a fourth-round pick in the 2016 draft going back to the Bears.

Bennett's inclusion in New England should bring excitement to Patriots fans. Not only is he a good blocker, but he is a good pass catcher as well, meaning the team could revive more of the two tight end tandem they had when Aaron Hernandez was with the team.

Since Hernandez was sentenced for life in prison, the Patriots have failed to find another tight end to pair with Gronk, but they might have found one in the former Bears star. Across the last two seasons, Gronkowski and Bennett have ranked second and fourth in catches per game among the league's tight ends respectively.

If the Patriots are able to find success with Gronkowski and Bennett in 2016, that will surely provide more Instagram content for the tight end to post.
