It may have been some time since last year that Carlos Tevez has played along with Lionel Messi as the striker reminisces the genius of his compatriot.
Tevez had everything good to say about the Barcelona ace, disclosing the fact that not only for the oppositions but it is difficult to play for his own teammates even if they are playing alongside the maestro.
ESPN quoted the 32-year-old saying: “Just as you are surprised by him, sometimes he also surprises us.

“There is no player at his level. It seems like he is playing a different sport.”
GENIUS AT PLAY
Tevez further reiterates that it may look like easy to others but actually the reality is otherwise as Messi could be hard to comprehend during the game itself.
“It is easy to play with Messi but difficult at the same time because he is someone you can’t understand. He is ‘not-understandable'.”
Despite playing for the national team for so many years, Tevez insists he still gets mermerised by the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.
He added: “A ball that you think is impossible to reach, he gets it, and he passes through three or four players in a way that would be impossible for the rest of us.”
“He speeds by you at a thousand kilometres per hour. It is hard for the rest of us.”
The former Manchester United and City forward had to face the wrath of the Blaugrana talisman as an opponent during the Juventus vs Barcelona Champions League final clash in Berlin last season.
Messi, alongside Neymar and Luis Suarez, were at their absolute best that guided the Catalans to the famous treble which they are on course of replicating this term as well.
Tevez believes that the team which features the 28-year-old star will undoubtedly feel more comfortable that is evident from the performances.
“When Messi is with your team, they get fired up and they play even better. Barcelona also plays a different game with him on the field, There is no other player like him.”
In spite of being sidelined due to injury at the early part of the current campaign, Messi still boasts an impressive 37 goals apart from providing 18 assists in 38 games in all competitions, according to Transfermarkt.com.
He is currently third in the top goal-scorers in La Liga but is one of the contenders for the Pichichi award going into final rounds of 2015-16.
Meanwhile, Tevez is hoping to reunite with his captain for Argentina in the Copa America in the US this summer and remains optimistic that performances in the South American league can guarantee him a place in Gerardo Martino’s side in future.
“I think that I have a 50 percent chance of making the Argentina squad for the Copa. I have to be better than just good if I want to make the squad because of all the fantastic champions Argentina have.”
“I have to give 100 percent if I want to wear the Argentina jersey again.”
