Real Madrid stunned La Liga last weekend by beating league leaders Barcelona 2-1 at the Camp Nou in the latest El Clasico.

Following Gerard Pique's 55th-minute opener, it seemed as though the hosts would once again see victory over their rivals, yet goals from Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo secured a famous and vital win - even despite Sergio Ramos threatening to spoil the party with a late red card.

Such was the delight in Real's camp after the win that they took to social media with a photo of Ronaldo and co. celebrating in the dressing room.

However, what was intended as a picture of jublilation soon became the subject of ridicule, with Ronaldo captured wearing nothing more than a pair of tighty whities.

Los Blancos' tweet went viral and has now been brilliantly recreated by Dutch second division side, Almere City FC (see below).

The hilarious image came following Almere's own 2-1 victory over FC Oss in the Eerste Divisie on Friday, the Dutch outfit's remake also going viral.

Needless to say that the player attempting to evoke his inner Ronaldo has a bit of work to do on his physique to match the Portuguese superstar.

As for Real, their hopes of La Liga success took yet another huge step forwards on Saturday following their 4-0 win over Eibar, closing the gap on leaders Barcelona to four points following the Catalonians' defeat to Real Sociedad.

Los Blancos next face Getafe away, whilst Barcelona host Valencia at the Camp Nou.
