Say what you like about Cristiano Ronaldo, but one thing you cannot say about him is that he is rubbish at scoring goals. Because he isn't, he's actually very good at scoring them.

The Real Madrid star has come in for some criticism this season, particularly with regards to his record in so-called big games. Well, he is playing in a big game right now and he is absolutely smashing it.

Going into the Champions League quarter-final second leg against Wolfsburg, Real Madrid had a mountain to climb. 2-0 down from the first leg meant the German side went into the Bernabeu as favourites, but the bookies did not account for the three-time Ballon d'Or winner.

By the 17th minute, Ronaldo had already pulled his ten team-mates up that mountain, scoring twice in the space of two minutes to level the tie at 2-2. We have got the video of both goals for you below, but also the best reaction from social media and some pretty unbelievable stats.

For instance, he now has 33 goals in 36 Champions League knockout round games, which is pretty impressive for a man who supposedly does not show up in crucial games.

Another outrageous stat is that Ronaldo now has 15 goals in the Champions League this season, which is seven more than any other player. Eat your heart out, Lionel Messi.

Anyway, here are the goals

And here is the best reaction
