West Ham v Manchester United: An FA quarter-final replay played under the floodlights at Upton Park. It would be the last FA Cup game at the famous old ground and would make or break the season for each team. It was a massive occasion.

So, naturally, they played out one of the most boring first halves of football we have seen this season. It finished 0-0 with neither team taking the initiative. But despite the apparent neutrality of the tie, Manchester United fans have already made their mind up about some of their players.

Jesse Lingard, who missed a good chance to put Manchester United ahead, and Ander Herrera have come in for some abuse on Twitter. They, of course, were not at their best but neither was anyone else.

But the fans have decided and they are currently lampooning both of them on the social media platform. Some of it is pretty harsh, some of it is pretty funny and some of it just bears no sense of reality.

Either way, we have some of the best of the reaction for both players embedded below. Enjoy, and then get back to the football!
