It’s rare to see two sets of football supporters getting on so well before a big European match.

Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund fans have done themselves proud over the past week and this latest video is just wonderful.

Ahead of this evening’s Europa League quarter-final at Anfield, the two sets of fans were filmed singing “You’ll Never Walk Alone” on the streets of Liverpool. (Scroll down this page to watch the footage).

There’s no animosity between the supporters, even though tonight’s second leg is delicately poised, and it’s refreshing to see.

The bond between the two clubs will grow even more after tonight following Dortmund’s announcement of their plans to pay an emotional tribute to the victims of the Hillsborough disaster.

According to the Telegraph, Dortmund’s 3,000 travelling supporters will unveil a giant mosaic with ’96’ on it - a tribute to the victims who tragically lost their lives on April 15 1989.

The two clubs played out a 1-1 draw during last week’s first leg.

Divock Origi handed the Reds a shock 1-0 lead - and secured a precious away goal in the process - before Mats Hummels levelled the scored three minutes after half-time.
