Chelsea's traumatic season took another turn for the worse after they were beaten 3-0 at the hands of Manchester City on Saturday evening.

Argentine international Sergio Aguero struck a hat-trick to help the Citizens restore their four-point advantage over rivals Manchester United in the battle for fourth place in the Premier League.

Chelsea, on the other hand, remain in 10th position after suffering their second consecutive defeat. Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois was sent off late on to further condemn the club's misery.
