When Shane McMahon fell victim to The Undertaker in their Hell in a Cell match at WrestleMania 32, many thought that moment was the last time we would see Shane-O-Mac in the WWE for some time.
However, since up showing his own father Vince McMahon on the Monday Night Raw following The Showcase of The Immortals, Shane has been in charge of Raw, much to the approval of the WWE Universe despite the show still continuing to have poor ratings.
Still, there has been many different surprises - whether it be through title shots for AJ Styles and Cesaro, or debuts of NXT stars like Apollo Crews and Enzo Amore and Big Cass - which have been received very well by the WWE fans.

Recent reports have suggested this trend of Shane McMahon running Raw may be continuing for a while to come.
According to Cageside Seats: "Shane McMahon is expected to continue his role in WWE for a while, meaning we can expect more of his running Raw in the weeks to come, even if The Authority returns soon for a program as expected."
Recent speculation has stated Authority members Triple H and Stephanie McMahon could be making a return to the WWE as early as next week's edition of Raw. They haven't been seen on programming since The Game lost the WWE World Heavyweight Championship to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 32.
Rumors have also suggested that The Authority could be entered into a feud with Shane-O-Mac upon their return over a power struggle of the WWE.
Triple H and Stephanie McMahon may look to regain control of the show, but Vince may side with his son due to the positive fan reaction. Ratings have been poor for both The Authority and Shane while they have been in charge, so they can't use that excuse.
Yet, it is also worth noting that Triple H is yet to have his rematch with Reigns for the WWE title, so this feud might not happen straight away anyways.
If Shane McMahon and The Authority do begin a feud, this could lead to an eventual brand split within the WWE, which has been widely speculated ever since the former made their return to the company during WrestleMania season.
While a feud could begin between the two next week, we must take into account that - as of writing - on the WWE's website and on the XL Center's website - the arena which Raw will be hosted in - neither Shane McMahon or The Authority are advertised for the event. Take everything with a pinch of salt for the time being until Monday Night Raw arrives in Hartford, Connecticut next week.
