Ladies and gentlemen, this is not a drill, I repeat, this is not a drill. Eden Hazard has actually finally, scored a Premier League goal.

After months of sitting on his millions of pounds paid for by the club and doing absolutely nothing for it, the Belgian international finally gave Chelsea fans something to cheer.

The 2014-15 PFA Player of the Year has had a season to forget - as have a number of the Blues' other star players - as the defending champions have put up the most feeble and embarrassing title defence in the history of football.

With 34 minutes gone of Chelsea's game with Bournemouth at the Goldsands Stadium, Hazard latched on to a tasty Cesc Fabregas backheel to flash the ball past Artur Boruc from 20-yards out to put Chelsea 2-0 up.

And just like London buses, after waiting so long for one, a second came a short time later as Hazard made it 4-1 to the Blues.

In his 28th Premier League appearance of the season, the winger notched his first goal and the internet reacted in its usual trolling fashion to 'celebrate' the finish.

After such a disappointing campaign that has seen the 25-year-old fall spectacularly from grace, questions will certainly be asked about his future.

There have been a numbers rumours about a move abroad throughout the season and those reports are likely to increase with Chelsea missing out on a place in the Champions League next season.

The relationship between Hazard and Chelsea fans has been strained throughout the campaign and the summer will be a real indication of how keen the club are to keep hold of their number 10.
