Chris Smalling shares epic picture of Anthony Martial's goal celebrations against Everton

Anthony Martial bagged a late winner in Manchester United's FA Cup semi-final against Everton at Wembley yesterday - and the celebrations afterwards were epic.

Marouane Fellaini scored the game's opener in the first half, and the Belgian's strike against his former side looked to be enough to see the Red Devils through to the final - especially after goalkeeper David de Gea saved Romelu Lukakau's penalty just before the hour mark.

The game was turned on its head however when Smalling put the ball into his own net - however another twist came in the dying seconds when Martial stroked home from Ander Herrera's pass.

The Frenchman wheeled off to celebrate with the travelling Manchester United supporters, and was soon swamped by his team-mates.

Nearby photographers snapped the jubilant scenes and Smalling, evidently relieved that he'd been bailed out by his team-mate, shared one of the brilliant images on his Facebook page alongside the caption: "That feeling when Anthony Martial saves the day and your heading to the final".

You can check out the picture Smalling shared, and the original in all its glory, below.

The Red Devils will take on the winner of the other semi-final between Watford and Crystal Palace later on today as they look to end an otherwise disappointing campaign on a high. Victory in the final would be their first FA Cup win since 2004.

In the league, Van Gaal's side are still pushing hard to break into the top four and seal Champions League qualification, but are running out of time with just four games remaining.

They currently sit in fifth place, four points behind Arsenal, while Manchester City are five points ahead in third having played a game more.

Do you think Van Gaal will stay in charge if he guides Manchester United to the FA Cup?
