If anyone actually knows what the hell is going on between Conor McGregor and the UFC right now, could they please speak up and let the rest of us know?
After a week that has seen McGregor retire from fighting, been removed from UFC 200 by Dana White, say he's coming out of retirement, and now finally say that he has been reinstated onto the UFC 200 card to face Nate Diaz again - we are literally none the wiser on what is going on.
Yes, McGregor said today that he is going to be fighting at the landmark UFC 200 event. Dana White, however, disagrees with that completely.

On his personal Twitter account, the Irish superstar tweeted out the following:
"Happy to announce that I am BACK on UFC 200!
Shout out to @danawhite and @lorenzofertitta on getting this one done for the fans. #Respect"
It turns out that this is news to White himself, who has said that nothing has been confirmed yet and that "The Notorious" isn't going to be fighting at UFC 200 just yet.
Speaking to the LA Times, via Yahoo Sports, White confirmed that a deal for Conor to return at UFC 200 is “not true."
"We haven’t talked [to] Conor or his manager since the press conference. I don’t know why he would tweet that.”
McGregor was originally removed from his main event rematch with Nate Diaz after he refused to fly over to the USA for a big press conference and promotional work, instead deciding that he wanted to stay in Iceland where he was training ahead of the fight.
Well, that press conference still went ahead, with everyone else turning up. Interestingly, when Dana White said that they were looking for a new opponent for Diaz, the American fighter stated that he only wanted to fight McGregor.
So, despite multiple updates, we are still nowhere closer to having any idea what will happen on July 9th. Excellent.
