The first PPV since WrestleMania 32 was filled with it's fair share of monumental moments as we saw both Shane McMahon and Stephanie McMahon take control of RAW and Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn clash in a fantastic match.

The night however didn't start very well as the first match was the finals of the Tag Team tournament to find the new number one contender for the New Day's Tag Team championships.

A lot of concern

We saw Enzo Amore and Big Cass come out to the ring for their match with the Vaudevillains as the Champions the New Day watched from ringside.

A very entertaining match however soon turned to a horror show after Enzo had a nightmare clash with the ring ropes.

Amore would hit the ropes face first at full speed before going almost lifeless as he fell to the floor.

The concern around the arena was obvious from the moment Amore hit the floor and it didn't take long for the referee to signal for medical assistance.

Medical staff were quick to act and Amore was stretchered out of the arena to a standing ovation and rushed to a medical facility.

As the event continued, news filtered through that Amore was able to move his limbs and was communicating with medical staff.

Prior to the main event for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match between Roman Reigns and AJ Styles, it was confirmed that Amore suffered a concussion.

While the good news was that all other tests on Amore came back negative for other injuries, concussions are a hot topic in sports across America right now.

It has taken the NFL by storm as a very serious health risk and was even the foundation of the problems that led to the retirement of Daniel Bryan.

Hopefully Amore is ok and will be back on RAW sooner rather than later, however as their match didn't have an end result, the future of the Tag Team Championships is currently up in the air.

A big night

Payback saw quite a lot of different revelations unfold as both Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn inserted themselves into the Intercontinental Championship picture whilst also renewing their heated rivalry.

The biggest announcement prior to the main event however was made by Mr McMahon who revealed that both Shane and Stephanie McMahon will be running RAW from now on.

The first RAW under dual control will surely be an explosive one as the WWE deals with the fallout from an eventful PPV.
