Payback proved to be a very eventful night for both the right and the wrong reasons tonight as we saw both history and disaster in Chicago.
The show got off to a horrifying start as Enzo Amore was stretchered out of the arena after a horrific collision with the ropes resulted in him suffering a concussion.
Despite that, the show ended on a high following an incredible main event for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship which saw Roman Reigns retain his title.

The biggest reveal of the night however came from Mr McMahon who finally made his decision on who will be in charge of Monday Night RAW.
In a segment that saw both Stephanie and Shane McMahon state their cases for why they should seize control of the WWE's flagship show, Mr McMahon had a tough choice to make.
As it turned out, he avoided the decision altogether as he named both Stephanie and Shane as the controlling force on RAW.
The two didn't seem very pleased to be sharing control of the show with their sibling but by the end of the night, they had already started working together.
Each made a rule change and restarted the main event after Roman Reigns was initially counted out then disqualified against AJ Styles.
As Payback went off the air, they both discussed the incredible main event and concluded that Reigns and Styles should meet again.
The match is now set and Roman Reigns will battle AJ Styles in three weeks at Extreme Rules for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in an Extreme Rules match.
Setting the next PPV's main event is a strong start for Shane and Stephanie's joint occupation of RAW and now all eyes will be on tomorrow night and their first show together.
A mixed night
While the main event stole the show in Chicago, the biggest story came from the number one contenders match for the tag team titles.
Following a horrific collision with the ropes, Enzo Amore was rushed to a nearby medical facility and was confirmed to have suffered a concussion.
It was a very bad start to the night but the positive news that the other tests on Amore were negative has helped to relieve the concern surrounding one of WWE's most popular stars.
