Tottenham midfielder Mousa Dembele could find himself in trouble after an angry exchange with Chelsea striker Diego Costa.
The Belgium international appeared to gouge the enigmatic Spaniard before the half-time whistle as things turned sour in west London.
It all started when Danny Rose and Willian squared up to each other on the sidelines, which led to Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino intervening.

It's safe to say, however, that the north London outfit are in cruise control right now. Goals from Harry Kane and Son Heung-min have handed Spurs the advantage.
Kane struck his 25th Premier League goal of the season with a well-taken goal in west London. Argentine ace Erik Lamela played through a fine ball to Kane, who rounded Chelsea shot-stopper Asmir Begovic in style.
Kane, of course, is currently sitting at the summit of the top scorers list and has every chance of claiming this year's Golden Boot award. Heung-min, meanwhile, doubled Spurs' lead with a fine finish just minutes before half-time.
If Tottenham manage to hold out and secure all three points against their London rivals, then they will remain in the title race.
Premier League leaders Leicester City, who failed to secure all three points at Old Trafford on Sunday, need just two points from their remaining two games to secure the prestigious honour.
Next up for Claudio Ranieri's side will be a home clash against Roberto Martinez's inconsistent Everton side.
Spurs, on the other hand, will play host to Southampton, who demolished Manchester City in their last outing.
