Leicester City's incredible Premier League win is already serving as an inspiration to optimistic punters across the country who are hoping an unlikely team can follow in the Foxes' footsteps.

Burnley, promoted this weekend after a 1-0 win over QPR, have been given odds of 5000/1 to win the title next season - sound familiar?

As ridiculous as that bet may seem, Sky Sports tipster Tim Clement has claimed that 880 people have already taken bookmakers up on the offer.

Inspirational Leicester

Leicester fans have taken bookies to the cleaners, with those who didn't cash out earning payouts of over £100,000.

With a combined cost of around £23million on their squad - that's half of what Manchester City paid for Raheem Sterling - their unbelievable triumph will have the Premier League's minnows questioning just how much they can achieve next season.

Sean Dyche's Burnley side should probably stick to their plan of avoiding relegation for now, a mantra which seems to have worked remarkably well for Claudio Ranieri. Last night, Leicester's town centre was swamped by jubilant supporters singing "we are staying up" after Eden Hazard's Chelsea equaliser finally removed any last possibility of Tottenham catching them.

Odds slashed

But regardless of Burnley's odds, William Hill have made it clear they have wised up to Leicester's tricks. Ranieri's side are 25/1 to win it again, though they are also 16/1 to be relegated.

When the dust finally settles on one of the craziest seasons in living memory, Leicester will be plotting their plan of attack for next year. With Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal, and even Liverpool expected to come back stronger, Leicester have a battle on their hands to hold onto their crown.

But as they have shown this season, it's anyone's Premier League.
