The former NXT Champion Finn Balor could have his eyes set on the main roster and the land above the WWE's developmental programme.

Balor lost the Championship to Samoa Joe at an NXT Live event last month and since then, rumours have been circling that his main roster debut is imminent.

A big debut

Balor is being tipped to debut and go right into the main event picture with the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns involved in a feud with the legendary Bullet Club.

Balor is a former leader of the Bullet Club and with AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson all teaming up on RAW, it seems that the stage is set for Balor's introduction.

If the rumours are to be believed, Styles or Reigns could be Balor's first main roster feud, but the demon could have his eyes on another opponent.

Balor was recently involved in Q&A when he was asked who he would most like to step into the ring with and his answered teased an epic encounter.

Balor claimed that he would be open to a match against the Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar.

Lesnar is arguably the biggest name on the WWE roster and a match against the current most popular NXT star could really draw in a crowd.

Balor also mentioned another former WWE World Heavyweight Champion who he would like to face in John Cena.

Cena is due to return to the WWE soon and a match between Cena and the Demon could be closer to reality than a match between Balor and Lesnar.

Set for a big entrance

Balor was largely tipped to appear during the main event of Payback when Reigns and Styles first went head to head for the Championship.

Rumours seem to differ but spread from the upcoming Extreme Rules event all the way to Summer Slam in August.

It seems that we will Balor in 2016 but when and how he enters the main roster is amongst the biggest questions in WWE.
