Extreme Rules is less than two weeks away and the hype around the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match between AJ Styles and Roman Reigns is at an all time high.

With the build up focussing on Reigns and his family against Styles and the 'The Club', it really is anyone's guess what we will see at Extreme Rules.

Styles didn't appear on this week's episode of Smackdown and has now been pulled from this weekend's WWE Live events.

Styles being pulled from the upcoming events comes off the back of several rumours claiming that he is currently dealing with several injuries.

Styles will miss the shows this weekend and it hasn't yet been confirmed if he will appear on RAW on Monday.

If Styles does however make an appearance on Monday night, it will be interesting to see if he steps into the ring or not.

While there are currently no rumours about Styles being set to miss Extreme Rules with the injuries, it looks like the WWE are trying to give him as much time as possible to try and heal before then.

The Championship match at Extreme Rules is one that many fans are hoping will end in Styles' first reign as a champion in WWE.

A big night ahead

Extreme Rules should prove to be an explosive night with only the second women's submission match in the events history set to take place.

Charlotte will defend the Women's Championship against Natalya and with her father Ric Flair banned from ringside, this could be the biggest threat to her title reign yet.

Meanwhile the Miz will defend his Intercontinental Championship in a Fatal 4-way match against Sami Zayn, Cesaro and Kevin Owens and Kalisto will defend his US Title against Rusev.

Former NXT Tag Team Champions the Vaudevillains will also get their first chance at the WWE Tag Team Championships as they take on the New Day.
