Real reason Bayley didn't get the call to the main roster

WWE took a step in the right direction when it comes to it's women's division when they unveiled the WWE Women's Championship at WrestleMania 32 and decided to retire the old Divas Championship.

The following night on Raw the WWE Universe were convinced that Bayley would make her main roster debut but once again they were disappointed when it was made apparent that the fan favorite would not be appearing.

It has been reported today that the main reason for this is the fact that WWE has no one to replace Bayley as a clear female fan favorite in NXT right now.

It's no secret that Bayley will be a hard act to follow down in NXT since she has been the backbone of the company since it began almost three years ago and fans have been able to go on an incredible journey with the former Women's Champion but there are a few potential replacements for the master of the hug.

Carmella could be a fantastic babyface replacement for her best friend, Enzo and Cass have left their valet behind since they have climbed the ranks to the main roster and it seems that WWE are happy to have the Princess of Staten Island perform alone for a while. She could easily step into Bayley's place since crowd reactions have improved for her over the past few months.

Asuka could be the easiest option to replace Bayley since she is currently the one who has the Women's Championship and has already proved that she could be a fan favorite in the future. Asuka has been women's champion for over a month now and WWE could have done more with her to see her take over Bayley's mantel.

Bayley will be given the call she deserves in the near future, especially since WWE has now promoted Eva Marie, Emma and Dana Brooke before the former NXT Women's Champion, but for right now Bayley wouldn't fit into the on-going story lines.

Charlotte and Natalya are doing exactly what WWE hoped they would and tearing the Women's division apart, they are set to put on another five star match next weekend at Extreme Rules as they collide in a submission match and then perhaps more divas will join the hunt for the Championship.

Sasha Banks has been noticeably absent from WWE recently whilst her "friend" Becky Lynch has been the victim of many assaults at the hands of Emma and Dana Brooke(EnD), the thought is that Sasha could help Becky in the near future or she could surface as part of the Championship picture.

Hopefully Bayley is added to a worthy story line when she is promoted because she deserves to be given a fair opportunity, WWE needs to find a way of promoting her down in NXT so she can join the other four horse women on the main roster where she belongs.
