What a time to be a Barcelona fan.

The boys from the Nou Camp have won their sixth La Liga in eight years thanks to a 3-0 win over Granada.

Luis Suarez scored a hat-trick to confirm what fans already suspected would happen, as the minnows had little to play for.

Fans go crazy

Elsewhere, Real Madrid did their job with a 2-0 win over Deportivo, but it was Suarez who stole the headlines.

Cue Barca fans going crazy over the superstar, who scored 40 goals in the league to get them there.

There was talk of a title at Barca earlier this season, but Suarez has been the difference this season. In fact, in all competitions, he has a half-century of goals, to add to 19 assists.

No wonder Barcelona are going crazy over the superstar.

Barcelona triumphed by just one point in the end, holding off Madrid, who won 12 games in a row to pile on the pressure.

A touch of class

Granada actually started the game quite promisingly in the opening 15 minutes, but they capitulated to put rumours Madrid had paid them incentive bonuses well and truly to bed.

Suarez' class set him apart from his team-mates, though as a whole, they have put in some sensational performances over the course of the season.

Madrid fans can console themselves with the prospect of a Champions League final against city rivals Atletico, but they have rightfully handed the title of champions of Spain to the graceful Barcelona.
