Vicente del Bosque has announced his provisional Euro 2016 squad - and the big news is that there’s no room for Atletico Madrid’s in-form striker Fernando Torres or Chelsea’s Diego Costa.
Instead, 35-year-old Aritz Aduriz, Juventus’ Alvaro Morata, Celta Vigo’s Nolito and Real Madrid’s Lucas Vazquez are the forwards selected.
As well as costa, Arsenal’s Santi Cazorla and Manchester United’s Juan Mata miss out.

Meanwhile, Atletico’s Saul Niguez has been included, as have the likes of Isco, David Silva, Pedro and Villarreal’s Bruno.
David De Gea is selected as one of three goalkeepers alongside Iker Casillas and Sergio Rico. (Scroll down to see the full squad).
Spain have bounced back since WC 2014
Spain finished top of their qualifying group, picking up nine wins from a possible 10.
It was a near-perfect response after their awful showing at the 2014 World Cup finals in Brazil.
Del Bosque’s side were expected to challenge - if not win - the World Cup two years ago but crashed out of the group stages after losing to the Netherlands (5-1) and Chile in their first two matches.
La Roja are currently third favourites to win this summer’s European Championships after tournament hosts France and world champions Germany.
They take on Czech Republic in their Euro 2016 opener on June 13, followed by matches against Turkey and Croatia.
