He has been one of the best players under the age of 21 this season throughout Europe with many experts claiming that he can follow the rise of Manchester United star Anthony Martial.

A move to the Signal Iduna Park is perhaps the best option based on all the other suitors and he will definitely get a wonderful education in order to develop his craft to take his game to the next level. What can the BVB faithful expect from their new French sensation?

After breaking into the first team this season, it is no surprise that Dembele is still yet to grow into his frame. He has a very sylph-like frame and as such relies heavily on his pace, trickery and range of skill.

As described by Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc, the French starlet is very versatile and capable of playing in several positions in the attacking third. Comfortable with the ball on either foot, the Rennes graduate has excellent dribbling skills and acceleration that allows him to get past his markers with very little effort.

He seems to have a big appetite for the game and thrives on running at defenders, creating problems in the final third.

Despite his young age, Dembele seems to have a mature brain in terms of his decision making in and around the penalty area. With 12 goals and five assists from his 28 appearances this season, he provides a serious threat on goal from anywhere in attack.

His fearless nature is also admirable and despite his small frame, he has the courage to compete for the ball in a 50-50 situation or to leave a foot in when performing his defensive duties. His pace, however, is one of his main assets along with his quick feet and as such Thomas Tuchel will have another exciting attacking option at his disposal.

Despite the euphoria of his capture, it seems to have raised a few doubts about the future of a couple of current Dortmund stars - especially Henrikh Mkhitaryan - as well as another potential target in Mario Gotze.

Some have questioned whether the BVB were just eager to capture one of the best young players in Europe or does it suggest one of their attacking stars will join Mats Hummels in departing the Signal Iduna Park this summer.

Should Mkhitaryan and his fellow stars stay at Dortmund, they will be welcoming a bright young player who will certainly learn a lot from them.

Dembele's addition means Dortmund now possess the armoury to launch a serious onslaught for the Bundesliga title and even the Champions League.
