Daniel Sturridge scores brilliant goal for Liverpool against Sevilla

Daniel Sturridge scored a magnificent goal to put Liverpool 1-0 up against Sevilla in the Europa League final.

The England international picked the ball up on the left-hand side of the box and curled the ball wth the outside of his left boot past Sevilla goalkeeper David Soria.

Sturridge then wheeled away and produced his trademark dance celebration - you know the one. (Scroll down this page to watch the video).

Liverpool could have been 2-0 up at half-time but Sturridge was flagged offside after Dejan Lovren sent a header towards goal.

However, it was still a decent first half for the Reds: a composed and professional display which would have delighted manager Jurgen Klopp.
