Since making his debut on the main roster just over a year ago, Kevin Owens has taken the WWE by storm.

His run in the company has been so strong so far for a superstar that hasn't been on the main roster for long, that - according to some reports - he could be close to becoming only the second wrestler currently in the company to hold an incredible achievement.

Wrestling Inc has reported: "A user on Reddit noted that Kevin Owens will be only the second current member of the WWE roster to be on every PPV main card in his first year on the main roster after Extreme Rules. The Undertaker was the first."

It all began last year in May with the Canadian defeating John Cena in his first ever pay-per-view match at Elimination Chamber. He went on to face Cena two more times, losing both times, and although he may have lost in the feud overall with the leader of the Cenation, it didn't halt his progress on the main roster.

After a clash with Cesaro at SummerSlam, Owens defeated Ryback to win his first singles title, the Intercontinental Championship. He held onto the championship after a successful defense against The Big Guy at Hell in a Cell.

The Prizefighter then took part in the Survivor Series tournament for the vacant WWE World Heavyweight Championship, where he was eliminated in the semi-finals stages by Dean Ambrose. The Lunatic Fringe would then go on to take the IC title away from Owens at TLC.

He lost the rematch for the Intercontinental Championship at the Royal Rumble, where he also entered in the Royal Rumble itself, only to be eliminated by long-time rival Sami Zayn. Owens successfully won the IC title for the second time in his career on the February 15 edition of Raw in a Fatal 5-way match. He then won a title defense match against Dolph Ziggler at Fastlane.

At WrestleMania 32, K.O. lost the title to Zack Ryder after Zayn took him out of the match. The Canadian would go on to face and defeat his fellow countryman at Payback, which he followed up by announcing his intentions to go after the IC title once more. This leads us to his upcoming match this Sunday, as The Miz, Owens, Cesaro, and Zayn face-off in a Fatal 4-way for the championship at Extreme Rules.

What this achievement shows is how serious the WWE is taking The Prizefighter. Wrestlers the size of Owens were ridiculed in the past, but he appears to be breaking that mentality. He's being given fantastic creative booking which is great to see and he is arguably the best heel on the roster right now.

The future looks bright for the Canadian. He could be in the main event picture soon fighting for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. With the amount of effort the man puts into his work, he deserves to enjoy every moment of it.
