With the new era in the WWE, the major push right now is on promoting the new superstars who are rising through the ranks.

Apollo Crews, Baron Corbin, Enzo Amore and Big Cass are all recent additions to the main roster who have made quite a big impact.

Return of a fan favourite

Stars such as Seth Rollins, Finn Balor and Sami Zayn are taking the WWE by storm right now and thre are some who feel that a superstar of their calibre has been seen before.

Referring to John Morrison - currently known as Johnny Mundo on Lucha Underground was present in the WWE several years ago.

Now it looks like Vince McMahon could be interested in bringing back the former Intercontinental Champion.

Fans would surely welcome back one of the most athletically gifted superstars in recent history and rumours have claimed that McMahon has been asking about the possibly of bringing him back.

Apparently asking about his current contract situation and his possible availability, McMahon could be considering bring him back to the main roster.

Morrison has been vocal in the past about his desire to one day return to the WWE and has even picked some superstars that he would love to compete against.

Morrison has previously expressed a desire to compete against former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins.

Another of Rollins' former Shield brothers has been highlighted by Morrison in the past, but not for good reasons.

"Roman Reigns, I'd love to wrestle him in like 10 years if he's still wrestling, because by then hopefully he'd figure out how to work." - Morrison on Reigns

Morrison may not be the biggest fan of the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion, but his desire to return to the company could well earn him a future spot in the main event against Reigns one day.
