Manchester City are in advanced talks with Borussia Dortmund over the signing of Gabon international Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
This has been reported by Sky Sports, who claim that the striker could complete a move to the Premier League outfit in this transfer window.
Aubameyang, 26, struck 25 goals in 29 Bundesliga games last season and is widely recognised as one of Europe's leading forwards.

Indeed, the Dortmund ace had been linked with a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid, but it now appears that he could be on his way to England.
It would certainly represent a fine coup for City, who have already landed Germany international Ilkay Gundogan from Dortmund in this transfer window.
Guardiola changing things
Unsurprisingly, then, new City boss Pep Guardiola isn't messing around as he goes about changing the dynamic of the squad he's inherited from Manuel Pellegrini.
Despite securing a place in the Champions League semi-final and winning the Capital One Cup last season, City endured a tricky campaign.
They were lucky to secure a place in Europe's elite competition for next season as they just about secured fourth position in the Premier League, edging out rivals Manchester United on goal difference.
There's every chance that Gundogan and Aubameyang won't be the only additions at City over the coming months, however.
Sky Sports also claim that the club are interested in France international Aymeric Laporte and Everton youngster John Stones.
But it's safe to say that the potential addition of Aubameyang would prove the club's most high-profile signing of the summer.
Aubameyang has all the attributes to succeed in the Premier League and could quickly establish himself as a key player under Guardiola's regime.
City could begin the Guardiola era with a front two of Sergio Aguero and Aubameyang, and that is a frightening prospect for their rivals.
As you can imagine, social media has reacted to the news that City are attempting to sign Aubameyang.
