Spanish newspaper El Confidencial have published what they claim to be the Whatsapp messages between David de Gea and an unnamed woman in the aftermath of allegations made against the Manchester United goalkeeper regarding his involvement in the Torbe sexual assault case.

De Gea yesterday publicly denied any wrongdoing, having been accused of helping to arrange a sex party with prostitutes for his team-mates, one of which it has been claimed is Athletic Bilbao midfielder Iker Munian.

"I am the first one to be surprised by this report. I deny it, it is false and nothing more, it is a lie and false," he told a press conference at Spain's Euro 2016 training base. "It is false what is coming out in the press and it will be in the hands of my lawyers."

The case revolves around a porn baron named Torbe, who is currently incarcerated for a series of crimes including human trafficking for sexual exploitation, sexual assault and child pornography.

The claim, made in newspaper El Dario yesterday, alleges that Torbe had forced the woman, who is now in witness protection, to have sex with two footballers, while De Gea stands accused of facilitating the meeting.

The former Atletico Madrid man was also accused of trying to set the woman up with five of his Manchester United team-mates.

Soon after the story broke, Spanish source AS published a copy of the statement made by the witness to police in which both De Gea and Muniain were named - and now the Whatsapp messages between the 'keeper and the witness have emerged online.

The full conversation is below - translation provided by AS English:

Soon after the news broke it was claimed that De Gea had been booted out of Spain's squad for Euro 2016, however he remains with his team ahead of their opening game against the Czech Republic on June 13.

Do you think De Gea should start on Monday against the Czech Republic?
