Belgium players hilariously mocked by Snapchat user

There are 51 matches during this summer’s European Championships meaning you have to sit through a massive 102 national anthems during that time.

While it’s great to sing your own countries anthem before a match, I can be a little tedious watching all of other side’s singing their own - especially when you don’t have a clue what the words are.

So, how do you make it more interesting?

By adding a Snapchat feature to all of their faces, of course.

That’s exactly what one user did with Belgium players ahead of their match with Ireland. While they were singing their hearts out, Kevin de Bruyne, Toby Alderweireld and Thibaut Courtois were unknowingly being mocked.

They were given dog noses and ears while Alderweireld was sticking out his doggy tongue.

Pretty funny stuff.

After seeing this, the players would have no doubt have seen the funny side - especially considering their brilliant result.

The Belgians triumphed 3-0 with Romelu Lukaku bagging a brace and Alex Witsel scoring the other.

The win gave Belgium their first points of this summer’s competition after their 2-0 defeat to Italy in their opening fixture and left the Red Devils with a fantastic chance to progress to the last-16.

However, Ireland’s Euro 2016 campaign is hanging by a thread. They could only secure a draw against Sweden in their first match meaning they need to beat Italy on Wednesday night to stand a chance of qualifying.

However, their hopes could be helped by the fact Italy have already won the group and could opt to rest players.
