England could give bitter rivals Germany a major boost with victory over Slovakia tonight.
Roy Hodgson will be keen to end the Euro 2016 group phase with victory in Saint-Etienne in a result that would also ensure the Three Lions qualify top of Group B.
However, if England do beat Slovakia then they will inadvertently give Germany a major boost going into their final group game with Northern Ireland.

Die Mannschaft are currently level with Poland at the top of Group C with four points following a 2-0 victory over Ukraine and a 0-0 draw with the Poles.
However, they will be ensured of progress to the last 16 without even kicking a ball, provided England win against Slovakia.
That result would ensure that the third place team in Group B has no more than three points.
And with Germany on four points, such a result would mean that Die Mannschaft could afford to lose to Northern Ireland and finish behind both Michael O’Neill’s team and Poland - should the Poles see off already-out Ukraine.
Germany are not the only the nation that could benefit from an England victory either though.
Poland would also progress along with Croatia and surprise package Hungary.
So while it may end up being a bittersweet situation for England fans hoping for an early German exit, at least it will ensure they get to see Premier League cult hero Gabor Kiraly in France for at least one more game.
Kiraly played for Crystal Palace, Aston Villa, Burnley and Fulham during a memorable playing career in the English top-flight.
England fans would certainly love to see the Three Lions go up against the pyjama-clad 'keeper in the last 16.
