When it comes to WWE’s Women’s Division there are few professional wrestling fans who will say it is on the same level as what it once was.
Gone are the days of female professional wrestling legends like Trish Stratus, Lita and the late Chyna. It was women like this who put female wrestling on the map, with the current female superstars now sadly proving no comparison.
With this said however, there are several female WWE wrestlers who at present have a huge following and produce worthwhile matches during WWE programming and at pay-per-view events.

For the most part however, it has been the same story for several years as WWE continue to neglect the Women’s Division and simply put on matches involving female wrestlers because they have to.
Despite the struggle which these women have had to face during their time on the main roster, there is one wrestler in particular who has always been determined to succeed in whatever she has been faced with at WWE.
Natalya is arguably the most experienced female wrestler on the current roster and at 34-years-old, is seen as a role model to many of the younger current women’s division wrestlers.
Although the fresh-faced stars of the NXT Diva’s Revolution are unquestionably talented and popular wrestlers, they have a much more distant connection to when women’s professional wrestling was at its peak.
Natalya is well-known for being part of the Hart wrestling family and has showcased her enviable wrestling ability through being part of a group as well as excelling as an individual talent.
Since making her main roster debut in 2008, Natalya has continued to represent female talent in a male-dominated roster in a unique and memorable style.
It is with this in mind that members of the WWE Universe would not have welcomed the speculation which broke out recently regarding the possibility of Natalya’s departure from WWE.
As Wrestling Inc has reported, there was talk between certain people at the company that Natalya could be leaving in order to spend more time with her husband Tyson Kidd, who is unable to wrestle.
Since this rumour was revealed however, Natalya has firmly denied it and as Wrestling Inc stated, she called any report of her leaving the company soon as ‘totally false’.
The current women’s division within WWE would be a completely different place should Natalya depart from it, but given her reaction to these rumours as well as the fact she undoubtedly has a lot left in her career yet, fans should fortunately have nothing to worry about anytime soon.
