The Oklahoma City Thunder sprang a shock on draft night when they traded Serge Ibaka for Victor Oladipo, Ersan Ilyasova and the draft rights to 11th overall pick Domantas Sabonis.

In a summer where the Thunder are trying to hang on to Kevin Durant as the superstar reaches free agency, Oklahoma City took a risk by moving out a known force in Serge Ibaka at the power forward spot, bringing in Oladipo at the two-guard.

Well, the man himself, Oladipo, has finally spoken about the trade by sending a message out to fans.

Oladipo took to his Instagram page to talk to both his new Thunder fans and the Magic fans that have waved him goodbye after three years in Orlando.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways submit to him and he will make your paths straight. When he closes one door he opens another for you!!," he started off as saying.

The 24-year-old then thanks the Magic and his former teammates and fans...

"I'm so excited for the new journey that I am about to start!! I just want to thank the Orlando Magic organization for a great three years," Oladipo stated. "The entire city of Orlando, my teammates, the fans, and coaches have taught me so much and I'm truly grateful."

...before finally going on to add how excited he was to join the Western Conference Finalists.

"I'm so excited to be a Thunder!!! I'm ready to win BIG and play in front of the best fans in the world!!! #ThunderUp"

No wonder Victor is so happy. He's moved from a team who struggled to make the playoffs out in the East to one of the best teams in the West, who can legitimately challenge for an NBA Title.
