Liverpool are closing in on a £30million deal for Southampton star Sadio Mane with the attacker set to undergo a medical at Melwood on Monday.
According to Sky Sports, Liverpool can be expected to announce a deal for Mane by midweek, making him the fifth player to join from Southampton in the last three seasons.
Dejan Lovren, Adam Lallana and Nathaniel Clyne have all made the move from St Mary's to Merseyside since 2014 and remain important members of Jurgen Klopp's team. Rickie Lambert also joined Liverpool but has since moved on.

Liverpool spent around £65m buying those players with Lallana (£25m) being the most expensive. Mane will trump that figure and take the total amount delivered to the south-coast club to the £100million mark.
The Senegal international will become Liverpool's third most expensive player of all time with Andy Carroll (£35m) and Christian Benteke (£32.5m) making up the top three. Fans will be hoping Mane does markedly better than both of them.
Carroll failed to make an impact during his 18 months at Anfield and eventually moved to West Ham at a £20m loss for the club. Benteke had an equally difficult debut campaign in a red shirt and has been tipped to leave in the current window.
Mane has scored 21 Premier League goals in 67 games since joining from Red Bull Salzburg in 2014. Ronald Koeman, who had just taken over from Mauricio Pochettino, paid £10m to sign him after seeing him score 45 goals in 87 games during two seasons in Austria.
He represents another triumph for the Southampton recruitment system, which has been credited with unearthing some major Premier League stars. The likes of Toby Alderweireld, Victor Wanyama and Dusan Tadic all originally made their names with the Saints.
Klopp had warned his current Liverpool players that there would be major changes to the squad during his first summer in charge and he has certainly lived up to that promise thus far. Midfielder Marko Grujic, centre-back Joel Matip and goalkeeper Loris Karius have already joined the club while more arrivals are expected.
Dortmund centre-back Neven Subotic has been linked with a move to Liverpool after confirming his intention to leave Signal Iduna Park while Germany international Jonas Hector is also attracting interest from Liverpool's transfer committee.
Leicester youngster Ben Chilwell has been the subject of a £7m bid from the Reds but the Premier League champions are holding out for £10m. The left-back is also wanted by Arsenal but is believed to prefer a move to Anfield.
