Manchester United fans expect Juan Mata to be sold after Ibrahimovic clip

Manchester United fans now believe that Spaniard Juan Mata will be sold by Jose Mourinho this summer after one particular moment involving new signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic. 

Indeed, as you can see in the video below (0:50), Ibrahimovic appears to say '8? That’s cool' after asking what number he will be. 

That's that then. The video may be without audio, but it's clear for all to see just what Ibrahimovic states.

What, then, does that mean for Mata at Old Trafford? Of course, even if Ibrahimovic is confirmed as United's next number eight, it doesn't necessarily mean that Mata will be sold. 

But it doesn't exactly look good for him at this stage. The technically-gifted midfielder was, of course, sold by Mourinho at Chelsea and it appears that there's every chance that something similar could happen to him yet again. 

Mata on his way out 

It's hard not to feel sorry for Mata, but there's not really much he can do about it. Ultimately, he just isn't the type of player Mourinho likes to utilise and it may well be time for him to embark on yet another new challenge. 

Mourinho is already changing the dynamic of his team and that's not a good sign for Mata.
