Liverpool fan claimed Manchester United wouldn't sign Ibrahimovic and Mkhitaryan

We may only be just two days into July, but this month is already shaping up to be a tremendous one for fans of Manchester United. 

That's because in the past two days the Red Devils have completed the signings of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Ibrahimovic was announced as a Manchester United player on Friday, while Borussia Dortmund confirmed on social media that Mkhitaryan will be joining the Premier League club.

Considering the fact that United will be without Champions League football for the new season, the additions of Ibrahimovic and Mkhitaryan represent quite the statement. 

But not everyone expected the club to land the aforementioned stars...

Shocker of a tweet 

One Liverpool fan in particular has now been made to look rather foolish on social media. That's because the supporter tweeted: 'United fans actually think they will be signing Ibrahimovic and Mkhitaryan :joy::joy::joy: deluded scum.'

How did that one work out? Well, not too well and as you can imagine Manchester United fans have absolutely destroyed the fan on social media.
