WWE Superstar Neville has been out of action since his March 15th ankle injury, suffered in a match against Chris Jericho.

The high-flying Superstar is expected to return soon, ready to amaze the WWE universe with his acrobatic style.

Long awaited return

The return of any superstar needs to be handled right and in Neville's case, there are a few different roads that the WWE could embark on.

Here are three possible scenarios the WWE could use once "The Man that Gravity Forgot" makes his return.

Put Neville into the Intercontinental Championship picture

Before his injury, it was rumoured that Neville was set to be featured in the Wrestle Mania 32 Intercontinental Championship ladder match.

His injury nixed those plans and Zack Ryder was added to the match in his place.

Upon his return, it would be good for the WWE to put him back on the road for the Intercontinental title even though the current champion, The Miz, has done an admirable job in the role.

Miz is one of the most underrated heels in the company, unfortunately, his run has lost some momentum since taking leave to film his latest movie.

Having a belt off TV for a month is bad, having no one notice it was gone, along with the champion, is worse.

Perhaps the division could get a shot in the arm with Neville’s return and the acrobatic superstar could begin a feud with The Miz.

The two superstars could have an energetic rivalry bringing some buzz back to the mid-card championship.

Turn Neville heel have him feud with Finn Balor

There are dream matches many fans talk about.

Then there are matches fans did not know they wanted and Neville Vs Finn Balor might be one of those dream matches.

Finn Balor is set to make his main roster debut anytime now but not much is known about where the Demon would fit into at this point.

One perfect introduction could be as an opponent to Neville since their styles complement each other well.

Balor would surely get the baby face pop, so Neville could get a chance to show some range as a heel.

A trinity of matches were both men trade wins and loses culminating in a final blow off match were Neville would lose could be spectacular to witness. It could propel Neville to the next level in the WWE.

Create a new Cruiser-weight Champion

The Cruiser-weight Classic is set the debut on July 13th on the WWE Network and the winner of that tournament could become a much talked about commodity within the company.

Before the tournament is through, it would be interesting to see the Cruiser-weight Championship return.

The WWE could crown a main roster superstar as the champion and after a few months, the Champion could be challenged by the winner of the tournament.

Neville would bring instant credibility to the Cruiser-weight division so it would make sense to have an established Superstar hold the belt for a while to help give it importance.

With the WWE reaching out to new talent, creating this division would add depth to the card. A match between Neville and Tommaso Ciampa or Johnny Garnano for the belt could set the arena on fire.

With an established name holding the belt the casual fans would not feel left out of the excitement.

Hopefully, as Neville makes his return, the WWE has plans to again capitalise on the young Superstars talents.

As anticipation builds, it will be great to see what they do with “The Man that Gravity Forgot.” One thing is certain, the WWE universe is set feel the excitement once again.
