Are the WWE set to turn Sheamus face?

Could the WWE be planning a huge change to one of their biggest heels in the not too distant future?

It is entirely possible, as reports have emerged that Sheamus worked as a face last night in a match for the United States title.

Yes, the very same Sheamus who sided with The Authority for so long and has been taunting fans and other wrestlers alike for at least the past year, worked as a babyface.

Here's the report, via Marc Middleton of Wrestling Inc:

"For what it's worth, Sheamus reportedly worked as a babyface at last night's WWE live event in Huntington, West Virginia," it stated.

"He lost a Tornado Match for the WWE United States Title to champion Rusev, Cesaro, Kalisto and Sami Zayn."

That is a match with only one heel in it, Rusev. It seems ridiculous that the WWE would put together a five-man match and only have one heel in it, there's far too much scope for babyfaces fighting other babyfaces.

So, is the WWE planning to turn Sheamus heel? It is very possible.

The WWE use house shows to test out new things all the time. New tag teams, debuting superstars, new feuds in the future, and heel and face turns are all tested beforehand at house shows that never see the light of day and are only seen by those in attendance

What will change about Sheamus should he become a face? Well, first of all, he will need a new haircut - can't have those "You look stupid" chants following him around as a babyface.

Making Sheamus a face would be a bold move, but in a world where nobody cares about him anymore, anything is preferable to not being on television at all.
