Jose Mourinho met the media today for the first time as Manchester United manager.
The Portuguese discussed everything from Ryan Giggs to youth players in his introductory press conference.
And as he prepares to share the same touchline Sir Alex Ferguson once made his own, Mourinho revealed just what the United legend told him as he arrived at Old Trafford.

Having seen David Moyes and Louis van Gaal try but ultimately fail to continue Ferguson's incredible run of success, there is now a genuine belief that the good times are returning to United.
But the only advice Ferguson could offer was to request he bring two items with him on game day.
When asked if Ferguson has offered any words of wisdom, Mourinho replied: "Fergie told me to bring an umbrella. It was great advice!

Mourinho era to begin
But what will Mourinho's first couple of months look like at Old Trafford? Well, the players that didn't take part in a major tournament this summer are set to return for pre-season training on Wednesday.
That will include the likes of Juan Mata, Ander Herrera and Phil Jones, who will all be desperate to impress the Special One.
Mourinho's first game in charge of the Red Devils will come in just 17 days time against German outfit Borussia Dortmund in China. It's fair to say that his second game at the helm - a showdown with Pep Guardiola and Manchester City - will take centre stage on July 25, while his side will come up against Turkish outfit Galatasaray on July 30.
United will take on Everton at Old Trafford on August 3 for Wayne Rooney's testimonial, before battling Premier League champions Leicester City in the Community Shield at Wembley on August 7.
Mourinho's first Premier League game for United will come at the Vitality Stadium against Bournemouth on August 13.
