Cristiano Ronaldo doesn't always get the credit he deserves. 

World football's ultimate galactico gets his fair share of stick for his occasional histrionics, but every so often he reminds us all what a classy guy he can be. 

Ahead of Portugal's Euro 2016 semi-final against Wales, a pitch invader decided to try his luck by sneaking into the team photo alongside Ronaldo.

But while a lot of players wouldn't have known quite what to make of it, arguably the world's greatest had a brilliant reaction. 

Instead of calling for the stewards, CR7 stopped for a cuddle and a selfie with the fan, which clearly went down pretty well. 

In fact, he looked pretty amused by the whole situation, grinning after spotting the invader making his way into the picture.

Ronaldo is all smiles after finally finding his form at the Euros, having scored twice and created one assist after a difficult start to the tournament.

It's not the first time he's had to deal with a pitch invader, though, as he had a similar, albeit more frightening, experience in Portugal's game against Poland. 

On that occasion, the fan was fined and thrown out of France, but this time, Ronaldo clearly saw the situation in a different light.
