In recent weeks, we've heard rumours of the WWE looking at bringing back the likes of Kurt Angle and Matt Hardy ahead of the impending Brand Split, only to discover the company were never really interested in the former stars.

But, as the WWE continue to search for names to fill their post-Brand Split RAW and SmackDown rosters, there is no doubt that Vince McMahon and co. are in the market for ex-Superstars.

And, according to a report today, there are two names the company is currently interested in ahead of the July 18 WWE Draft.has offered an update about two names the company is looking at.

Per Dave Meltzer on F4WOnline.com, via NoDQ, the WWE is looking to bring both Jimmy Wang Yang and Curt Hawkins back into the fold.

Both Superstars have been linked to a return on the rumour pages, but to hear Meltzer confirm that the WWE front office is indeed interested suggests they could very well be back on the roster in a matter of weeks.

Wang Yang's name emerged earlier this week when the former Superstar himself posted a photo online in which he claimed to be waiting outside Vince McMahon's office backstage at RAW for a meeting.

Hawkins, meanwhile, has been touted alongside other mid-card talents.

And, while talk of former Tag Team champion Wang Yang has some momentum behind him from WWE fans, Hawkins' name is likely to draw derision from a lot of fans who were hoping for bigger names to be brought in to boost the ranks.

Only time will tell whether either of the stats of the '00s will sign new deals with the WWE, but there isn't long left for the WWE to get their house in order before SmackDown goes lives next month.
