WWE planning big return for Monday Night Raw

The WWE brand extension is close right now, with the Draft being just eight days away.

That isn't the only big decision made in the WWE, however, as the general managers for both Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live have yet to be decided.

And for that very reason, we are seeing the return of one major name in the WWE. According to a report from Wrestling Inc, Vince McMahon will be showing his face once again on Monday Night Raw tonight.

Vince is Back

It seems like the reason for Vince's appearance is to choose who will be GM of each brand, seeing as both Shane and Stephanie McMahon are also lined up to appear on Raw.

It has been the long-held belief that Shane will be taking over on SmackDown to keep the "New Era" going while Stephanie will remain on Monday Night Raw.

"WWE is focusing on the following points for tonight's RAW," the report from Wrestling Inc states.

It includes: "Vince McMahon is back with Brand Extension implications."

The brand split is any exciting time for WWE fans as they look forward to seeing which superstars will end up on which show. It looked written in stone that Roman Reigns would be the first draft pick for Raw and John Cena would be SmackDown's number one selection, but Reigns' suspension has thrown that into doubt.

He's obviously still going to be in main event contention but is banned while the draft is happening so presumably won't be allowed on TV. It will be interesting to see what the WWE does.

That doesn't happen until next week, however. So just focus on RAW tonight and Vince McMahon's return from the wilderness.
