The Cleveland Browns are not happy with Isaiah Crowell after the running back posted a disgusting image to social media last week.

Crowell took to his personal Instagram account and posted a picture of a police officer having his throat slit, with blood pouring out.

Seriously, an NFL player thought it was a good idea to post such a disturbing image. What the hell was he thinking!? Scroll down to see a screenshot of the post.

Here is what Crowell posted. Warning, it is rather graphic.

The caption on the post read: "They give police all types of weapons and they continually choose to kill us....#Weak". Crowell was clearly referencing the deaths of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile last week.

The Browns had their say on the picture, releasing a statement saying that Crowell now needs to make a positive impact.

"We have spoken to Isaiah regarding his extremely disturbing and unacceptable social media decision,'' the Browns said.

"It was completely inappropriate and we have made him aware of our high level of disappointment. Isaiah has apologized but also knows that just an apology is insufficient and that he must take steps to make a positive difference after a very negative and impactful post.''

Crowell apologized for the post, saying he posted it before the murder of five police officers in Dallas and that it was a poor decision, noting that he deleted it pretty much immediately.

At a time when tensions are so high right now, this post was not needed and the calls for Crowell to be fired have a point.
